Brand & Marketing Manager -

Role Description

  1. Be the strategic bridge between Zuri Health and our advertising agency. Write the briefs, manage the relationship, drive campaign approvals, and ensure every output is sharp, on-brand, and commercially purposeful.

  2. Determine which channels carry which messages, and you will hold the agency accountable for results.

  3. Own and govern the full library of Zuri Health brand assets across visual, audio, video, and written formats. Nothing goes out without your sign-off. Everything lives in a system you build and maintain.

  4. Lead our social media manager and video content editors, setting editorial direction, approving content calendars, and building a governance framework that ensures content is created, reviewed, approved, and distributed with precision.

  5. Own the full content pipeline from short-form to long-form across all platforms.

  6. Drive the distribution strategy for Zuri Health's audio and video content, build relationships with media partners, and expand our reach into new audience ecosystems across Africa.

  7. Proactively protect and build the reputation of Zuri Health as an organization, and of our founders as thought leaders and public figures.

  8. Monitor the landscape, identify risks early, build crisis response protocols, and ensure that our public presence is always intentional, accurate, and dignified.

Job Description

  1. You have 5 or more years of brand management or integrated marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a role that required you to manage or coordinate with an external creative or advertising agency.

  2. You have led content teams before.

  3. You understand the difference between executing a campaign and owning a brand.

  4. You understand the difference between executing a campaign and owning a brand.

  5. You likely come from an agency Account Director or Group Account Manager background, or from a client-side brand team in a fast-moving consumer, fintech, or health company.

  6. You are ambitious, structured, and ready to operate at a level of visibility that most marketing roles do not offer.

  7. You have strong opinions about brand and are not afraid to defend them

  8. You understand that in a regulated, trust-dependent industry like healthcare, one careless post can do serious damage

  9. You are excited by the scale of what we are building across Africa

  10. You want a role where your fingerprints are on everything

  11. Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline

  12. CIM Level 6 or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage

  13. Demonstrated experience managing integrated campaigns across digital, traditional, and experiential channels

  14. Experience supervising or leading a content or creative team

  15. Strong written and verbal communication skills

  16. Familiarity with brand governance, content management systems, and performance reporting
